In the United States, Labor Day, is the first Monday in September created by the labor movement dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of their country.

Ok, I exagerrate my role in society, but I do believe just like the body of Christ (his church) is one body of many parts and all are important. The same goes for a society that labors. One society, many jobs, and all jobs are important... excluding of course jobs related to crime and vice that undermind the efforts and health of honest workers.
Thank God for all of you hard workers! You all make a difference for a better society. It is good for man to work and it is good to be recognized for a job well done.
Even so, work is not meant to be easy in fact I guess that is why it is called work. Somedays I think it is no coincidence that WORK is a 4 letter word. It get's kind of messy sometimes. Work can be stressful, exhausting, and begging for another sick, vacation, or yet another mental health day. I personally never saw a sick day I didn't like.. except when I was sick. Someday when my life is over I hope to hear God say to me.. "well done, my good and faithful servant. AND .. much in the same way when I retire, I want to hear my life's labor was.. WELL DONE!
May God bless our honest efforts to contribute to our society and provide for our families. May God bless us and provide for us when we are out of work or between jobs. May God bless our efforts to Love God and care for others in need.
