 title laborday

  • I am the guy who makes sure the sports officials are at their assigned games.  Without me..  it would be SPORTS ANARCHY! Worst than the replacement refs for the NFL last year!! Horror of horrors! and...
  • I am the guy who ensures the coloring is between the lines on Back Pew cartoons. Without me.. The Back Pew cartoons would have a Picaso look to them making them even more confusing than the sometimes already are.

Ok, I exagerrate my role in society, but I do believe just like the body of Christ (his church) is one body of many parts and all are important.  The same goes for a society that labors.  One society, many jobs, and all jobs are important...  excluding of course jobs related to crime and vice that undermind the efforts and health of honest workers.

sickday faithhealersThank God for all of you hard workers! You all make a difference for a better society. It is good for man to work and it is good to be recognized for a job well done.

Even so, work is not meant to be easy in fact I guess that is why it is called work. Somedays I think it is no coincidence that WORK is a 4 letter word.  It get's kind of messy sometimes. Work can be stressful, exhausting, and begging for another sick, vacation, or yet another mental health day. I personally never saw a sick day I didn't like.. except when I was sick. SmileSomeday when my life is over I hope to hear God say to me.. "well done, my good and faithful servant.  AND .. much in the same way when I retire, I want to hear my life's labor was..

officetalkWELL DONE!

May God bless our honest efforts to contribute to our society and provide for our families.
May God bless us and provide for us when we are out of work or between jobs.
May God bless our efforts to Love God and care for others in need.
